I got a gift basket from Walnut Creek Cheese, and it was nice overall. The cheese was good and everything looked really put together when it showed up. It’s hard to describe, but a few of the items just felt a little smaller than I expected for the price. Nothing was bad at all, it just didn’t feel quite as special as I was hoping. Still a decent gift, but I’m not sure I’d order this same one again.

I placed a pickup order expecting it to be simple and quick, but it ended up being way more of a hassle than I thought it would be. When I got there, no one seemed to know where my order was or what was going on.
I waited around a lot longer than I expected, and I had to ask twice before someone finally checked again. Compared to the smooth pickup experience I had in mind, it felt unorganized and a little annoying.

The food itself was fine once I finally got it, so that wasn’t the issue. But the pickup experience was bad enough that I probably wouldn’t choose that option again.

My gut feeling after using the site is that it’s decent, but not exactly polished. I was able to find the cheese and bulk foods I needed, and the pages loaded fine for me. Checkout was straightforward too, so nothing really stopped me from getting through it.

That said, parts of the site just feel a little outdated. Browsing around wasn’t as easy as I expected, and I kept thinking the search and filters could be more helpful, especially when there are a lot of products to sort through.
Overall, I wouldn’t call it a bad experience. It got the job done, and I’d probably use it again if I needed something specific. But my first impression is that it could use some updates to feel smoother and easier to shop...

So... the cheese showed up warmer than I was expecting, which was a bit disappointing. I was hoping the cold pack would keep it chilled better during shipping.

Shipping was totally fine, so I’ll give them that, but overall the quality just didn’t really line up with what I thought I was getting.

I’ve been impressed with the prepared foods here. Everything I’ve tried has tasted fresh, flavorful, and really easy to enjoy when I don’t feel like cooking.
